Send them courage for what they cannot see yet.

A reminder that visible danger may be real, but it is not the whole scene.

At dawn, Elisha's servant sees the city surrounded by horses, chariots, and an army. Elisha does not pretend the danger is small.

He prays for opened eyes, and the mountain is already full of help the servant could not see. Courage begins when fear is not the only thing in view.
