For someone who feels stuck in failure

Send them mercy that gives the future back.

A reminder that Jesus does not leave Peter inside what he did.

Peter had failed in the open, but after breakfast on the shore Jesus does not leave him there. He asks for love and receives Peter's honest answer.

Then Jesus gives him work again: feed my sheep. Failure is not the finish when mercy restores the person and the future.
