Carried By Friends.

Mark 2 begins with a man who cannot get to Jesus alone. His friends carry him through the blocked doorway and toward mercy.

Scripture · Source
Four people came, carrying a paralytic to him. When they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof where he was. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on. Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."

For someone outside the doorway

Send them a little courage.

A reminder that mercy can arrive through faithful friends.

Mark 2 does not start with a man strong enough to reach Jesus alone. It starts with friends who carry him when he cannot carry himself.

The doorway is blocked, but they do not leave. Sometimes mercy comes through people who refuse to let someone stay outside.
