Joy Found Its Way Back

Mourning is named without being rushed. Then the song turns: gladness returns, and a quiet heart begins to sing.

Scripture · Source
“You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness, to the end that my heart may sing praise to you, and not be silent. Yahweh my God, I will give thanks to you forever!”
Psalm 30:11–12 · Word of God
When joy begins returning

Let this find a heart learning to sing again.

Share this with someone whose gladness is quietly finding its way back.

Psalm 30 does not deny the mourning or rush past it. The rough sackcloth is named before the dancing begins.

Then gladness comes close enough for a quiet heart to sing again. Sorrow mattered, but it did not own every tomorrow.
